Astrant is de motor achter de urban arts in Ede. In nauwe samenwerking met de Gemeente Ede, Woonstede en het World Food Center lanceren we een unieke Open Call. Dit project is extra bijzonder: de nieuwe mural wordt namelijk het 125e kunstwerk in de openbare ruimte van Ede. Hiermee bevestigen we onze positie als dé street-art hoofdstad van de provincie Gelderland.
We zoeken een (inter)nationale of lokale kunstenaar die een blinde muur kan transformeren tot een inspirerend kunstwerk dat de buurt verbindt en een nieuwe iconische landmark toevoegt aan onze collectie.
We bieden een indrukwekkend oppervlak van circa 224 m². Voor deze locatie zoeken we een ontwerp dat impact maakt, de omgeving verrijkt en past bij de urban vibe van Ede, maar tegelijkertijd een eigen, unieke handtekening draagt.

OPEN CALL: Muralists wanted for a new landmark in Ede! 🎨
Ede is becoming even more colorful. Are you the artist we are looking for to leave a lasting mark on the street-art capital of Gelderland?
Astrant is the driving force behind urban arts in Ede. In close collaboration with the Municipality of Ede, Woonstede, and the World Food Center, we are launching a unique Open Call. This project is extra special: the new mural will be the 125th artwork in the public space of Ede. With this milestone, we confirm our position as the street-art capital of the province of Gelderland.
We are looking for an (inter)national or local artist who can transform a blank wall into an inspiring piece of art that connects the neighborhood and adds a new iconic landmark to our collection.
We offer an impressive surface of approximately 224 m². For this location, we are looking for a design that makes an impact, enriches the environment, and fits the green vibe of Ede, while carrying its own unique signature.
