Hier krijgen bekende en onbekende garage, post-punk, psychedelic rock, trash-blues, noise, no-wave en fuzztone bands de kans om ons podium sonisch volledig af te breken en het publiek te doen veranderen in een wervelstorm van psychedelische soep. Slackers because we all feel out of place in this society that gives us the feeling of going 240 km/h into a wall and we don’t want to go there. So if we’re going to crash into that wall it better off be a wall of amps, and if we can get high in the process it’s even better.
Getting high because KARKARA is an upbeat and high tempo psychedelic rock band with riffs like King Gizzard, melodies like Erkin Koray and a tempo like Squid. A deluge of uninterrupted psychedelism both trippy and hypnotic that transports you to a post-apocalyptic setting on the verge of implosion. Screaming amps, supercharged drums and deep voices mixing both sweet melancholy and desperate rage.
On stage, KARKARA manages to transcribe a hypnotic fury and reveals to the public a sound, an identity and an energy that grabs you in the guts instantly.
“wah wah” lovers, repetitive “boom boom kraut” enveloped in exotic sounds from the other side of the sea, trance is at the center of the project.
LOS SUSTOS (Mex)
The Mexican garage-punks of Los Sustos were formed in 2012 and have continued to hammer out a steady flow of Garage-Punk tracks, tours in Mexico and Europe and are currently on their 4th tour in Europe. The first one since their last in 2019. Back witch a vengeance, these punks bring a solid groovy sound of 60’s beat and psychedelic influenced garage. From sing-a-long hits to groovy fuzz-filled soundscapes and a 13th Floor Elevators cover here or there, they will get you a-moving!
ACIDSITTER (Pol)
These Polish-Japanese psychonauts stationed in Krakow, explore the broad trend of psychedelia with rock-and-roll passion and punk energy. They played at numerous festivals including Red Smoke Festival and Soulstone Gathering and did few gigs with King Buffalo. The band is: Tetsuya Nara (Tumbling Walls), Rafał Klimczak (Neal Cassady, NEAL), Tomek Głuc (Neal Cassady, Nucleon) and Filip Franczak (Fraktale, Tumbling Walls, Kaseciarz). Gas Giant combineert het beste van stoner, met daar bovenop punkelementen. Een unieke mix van gitaarspel uit de jaren 70 met dikke en donkere riffs uit de jaren 90, kritische teksten en een vleugje doom.
