‘Ede Zuigt’ en ‘Ede Raast Door!’ waren dé punk shows van Ede, van 1999 tot 2005 traden er op verschillende locaties grote namen op. Denk aan The Casualties, The Distillers, Against All Authority, US Bombs en Oxymoron regelmatig stonden zijn voor een uitverkochte zaal van punks & skins, en dit middenin de bible belt! Lokaal en Nederlands talent kreeg hierbij ook altijd een plek, met concerten van Beans, Last To Go, Antidote, Nihilistix, BBK, Operation Market Garden en Discipline.
Onder de naam ‘Ede Zuigt, Nog Steeds’ houdt Astrant deze traditie vanaf 2014 weer in ere en zullen binnen en buitenlandse punk bands Ede nog een keer kapot komen spelen!
TOTAL CHAOS (usa)
Thirtyfive years ago in Pomona Valley, California, was the birth of Total Chaos. Created out of the desperate need to save a dying genre of punk rock, during a time that the market was saturated with a more commercial new style. It was more important than ever to express their social and political views. The idea of social responsibility was a significant thing, from organizing peace punk picnics, to protesting against the gulf war, their music had a meaning and stood for something. Over the years, the band has seen many things come and go, but they have stuck to their original ideals. Whether you are pop punk, street punk, hardcore punk, straight edge, political punk, goth punk, skate punk, crust punk, metal punk, or whatever box they try to put you in, Total Chaos unites you all into one scene: PUNK ROCK!

They have often been called The Most Dangerous Band in the World thanks to their super intense live performances at such international festivals as Vans Warped Tour (USA), South by Southwest (USA), Punk Rock Bowling (USA), Rebellion Festival (UK) Extreme Fest (FR) and more. While maintaining a 100% DIY attitude, the band has earned praise and respect from such punk and rock heavy hitters like Gene Simmons (Their music will be listened to by 40 millions of Americans.), Jello Biafra (Olga has quite an unusual voice, kind of like an angry cornered mongoose.) and The Adolescents, who they partnered with on a split release titled Hot War.
